Since 1995, the Victoria’s Secret fashion show is always a moment that the fashion industry cannot wait for. Always very extravagant with the most sexier models on earth, A Fantasy bra (or two in this year fashion show) that costs millions of dollars and well known artist to perform.
But despite all that Victoria’s Secret cannot be considered as a luxury brand. It doesn’t meet the requirement to enter to this very selective club. A luxury brand is not driven by the number of sales but by art, creativity and passion in each pieces. It has to show sophistication and not being too bling. Moreover the brand doesn’t have an ancient history. Finally t prices and point of sales don’t use luxury codes.
Although it is not considered as luxury right now, Victoria’s Secret has all that it takes to become one one day.
