Van Cleef & Arpels is one of the most houses of spectacular masterpieces in the world. Crafted with precious stones and the highest quality materials, its jewelry often depicts intricate, whimsical designs like flowers and animals. В 1906 Alfred Van Cleef and Salomon (Charles) Arpels, establish the House of Van Cleef & Arpels at 22 place Vendôme. This brand of jewelry from precious stones, I learned recently, in spite of its great history. And I am very glad to get acquainted with the house of Van Cleef & Arpels during a demonstration of the new collection L`Arche de Noe at 22 place Vendôme. To present its new High Jewelry collection, la Maison entrusted Robert Wilson Robert Wilson — one of the greatest masters of modern lighting in scenography. Robert Wilson creates a dreamlike travel through a positive and timeless interpretation of the of Noah’s Ark, evoking first of all a preserved paradise. In his vision of the Ark, Robert Wilson imagined a sensory mise-en-scène plunged in the engulfing darkness. The constant screening of a video is reminiscent of the sea; the soft and enfolding piece of music evokes mystery; the skies darken as lightning streaks herald a storm, the Ark departs, and the ensuing respite hums like a promise of peace. This collection is so wonderful! All the masterpieces are made in the form of animals (giraffes, lions, foxes) and insects (butterflies), and even in the form of unusual animals from fairy tales, such as Unicorn and Pegasus. All jewelry is very high quality and at a glance it is clear that the rare and talented craftsmen worked long and diligently, with all their heart. One more plus about the collection is that it was completely free to visit every day from noon to six o’clock. So many people had a possibility to visit this charming place and get a luxury experience. This collection plunges us into another world, which is full of bright colors, magic and beauty. It is impossible to take your eyes off; the collection is so unusual and incredible! In the hall, which hosted the exhibition, there was nothing more, so each visitor could see each piece carefully and choose his favorite. Looking at such beauty, time stands still and breathing slows down, we can only admire and dream.
