Some of us might think that the pairing of books and luxury brands is very unusual and unpredictable. Wrong! Books are a very important part for some luxury brands, such as Louis Vuitton – who bases its DNA on travel, and also Dior that dedicated several books to fashion. The combination of travel book and luxury seems however somehow more shocking although these two fields are very close to each other.
Today, Louis Vuitton offers ten travel books – all different and all very creative. Some of the titles are: travel book – the arctic, travel book Vietnam, travel book venice, travel book Edinburgh, Island, New York, Paris, London and a special edition of Arctic and Edinburgh. These books consist of around 160 pages, 100-200 original illustration, are around 28cm x 19cm big, and all of them come with the artists’ biography. Louis Vuitton also offers a limited edition of 50 numbered and signed copies. All of these books are exclusively sold only at Louis Vuitton stores or some of them can be found at the Louis Vuitton Foundation in Paris.
