Rouge NoirOne of the probably most iconic nail polishes of all time is Rouge Noir by Chanel. A deep dark burgundy shade that you can now find at any Chanel counter or Boutique.

When Rouge Noir was released, the color was called vamp, and was supposed to resemble dried blood. The color became popular through the Cult movie Pulp Fiction, where Uma Thurman, wore the polish on her nails.

Vamp became an immediate hit, and everybody wanted to get their hands on it. Unfortunately, Vamp was discontinued.

In 2003, Vamp was put up on the shelves again, but this color did not resemble the original Vamp color. The color that became the new Vamp is the famous Rouge Noir.

To celebrate the success of the Rouge Noir nail polish, Chanel released their whole Christmas 2015 Beauty collection, based around their iconic polish.

Chanel Rouge Noir is a classic deep red shade that cannot be missed in any girls or women’s nail polish collection and is a staple and icon in the history of nail polishes.
