The Famous House Angelina (very known by the Hot chocolate’s fan around the world) has opened recently a shop Rive Gauche in Paris.

Indeed, Angelina’s fans used to go to the famous Angelina tea saloon located under the beautiful arcades, rue de Rivoli close to the Tuileries Park.

Now, Parisian and tourists can also go to the chic Rive Gauche boutique which is now based between rue de Varenne and rue de Babylone in the 7th disctrict of the Capital.

To celebrate the opening of the boutique, Christophe Appert, the head Pastry chef decided to create a new cake.

He created the Babylone Cake, in tribute of the rue de Babylone.

It’s a light and femine pastry which reflects perfectly the clientele of the district.

What does it taste ?

The Babylone cake is composed of an almond biscuit, a vanilla mousse with a raspberry confit.

For the greedy and curious, you can find it in both shop, and it cost 6,7 €.
