Strelka Institute for Media, Architecture and Design is a an international project created by Rem Koolhaas. It was founded in 2009 in the heart of Moscow. Strelka provides one year education program in English for post-graduates and young professionals under 35.
Strelka has been listed among the top – 100 best architecture schools in 2014, according to Domus magazine. The Institute aims to educate the next generation of architects, designers and media professionals.
The territory of the Strelka consist of two parts, one of them belongs to the Institute, other part is public space for all visitors of Strelka with restaurant and bar. Strelka promotes a democratic relationship between the Institute, events and people. During the summer Strelka Institute creates public program for everyone. The summer program includes lectures, perfomances, films, concerts and fairs.
