A Little Bit of History
Rosewood Mansion was originally a building for cotton.
After suffering a fire in the 20’s, the mansion was rebuilt entirely. The owners have traveled throughout Europe for several years, bringing with them antiques, genuine accessories and luxurious materials.
The architecture of the house was inspired by Italy for the facade, and by Spain, Italy, England and France for the interior design.
In 1979, Rosewood Property Company bought the mansion and launched the first major renovation project. The Mansion restaurant opened its doors the following year and has received very good reviews.
In the 2000s, the hotel has undergone a new renovation project, and the hotel is today as we know it.
