Pros and cons for a brand to open an e-shop

Nowadays, e-commerce is considered as being the future of retail store. In fact, since the Internet appeared in our life, the way of selling has evolved. You can find whatever you want on the Internet, but the question is: should luxury brand open an e-shop? Since beginning of October 2014, Chanel has opened an e-platform where everyone can buy the iconic skincare and makeup.

Opening an e-shop can be really cheap, but it is very controversy for luxury brands to open online stores. Some think that Internet is the future, I think that luxury brand should remain exclusive. But, for example I think it is a good idea to find skin care, fragrances and make up online, as there are the introduction products of luxury brand.
