New wave of luxury Parisian hotels beckons


An article on business day BDlive says that a new trend for luxury hotel in Paris: there have been more and more 5-star hotels opened/reopened recently in Paris such as Peninsula Paris, Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Shangri-La Hotel, Hotel Plaza, etc. They all located in a good location with convenience and great view, and they have modern and high-end facilities. Peninsula Paris, the Hong Kong-based hotel group’s first venue in Europe is equipped with 200 spacious rooms and suites costing about 1000 euro a night, oak-paneled walls of its bar, oval-shaped bathroom, spa setting with lights and music, a Cantonese restaurant which is like an old Chinese opera, and the general colors setting are black, grey and cream. Besides, with technology, clients can control the equipment in their rooms. The other hotel, Plaza Athenee, is famous for its interior design, luxurious decoration, history. Its 450 square meter royal suite furnished with Lous XVI style and oil paintings cost 27,000 euro a night. Those all show that Paris has more to offer international clients in high-end.
