For the Autumn/Winter 2018, Miu Miu collaborated with the agency M/M for the project called “The Miu Miu Type, an ABC of Actions Behaviors and Comportament”. The idea consisted in an alphabet reinvented by Miu Miu showing the different facets of a Miu Miu woman through letters. Their A/W 2018 show was decorated with big posters with each illustration in black and white.
Outside of the show the letters became the theme for a customisable capsule collection. Popeline shirts, sweaters and track pants all in white with letters from ‘MIU’. An additional feature developed is the possibility to personalise products with letter patches in selected store.
The pieces of the collection are not only a way for the customer to personalise its products but also for the brand to add some street-style pieces to their collection. Both aspects are in high demand in the market today leading to a successful collaboration.
