Maison Lejaby: french savoir-faire

The lingerie company was officially founded in 1930 (even if the brand is existing since 1884). In 2007, this company was second on the French market (of French lingerie company), right after Chantelle. However, this made-in-France company had to face compulsory liquidation in 2011. The workers did not want to lose all the know-how that the company has developed, so they decided to make a call to save the brand.

Alain Prost (former CEO of Italian brand La Perla) bought the company in 2012 with a goal to make the brand reborn from its hashes. Before 2012, the brand was known as “Lejaby”, but after the CEO decided to change the name to “Maison Lejaby”. Some thought it was going to be a huge challenge, but since 2012, each year the brand makes a benefit of +15%. To succeed, the company has decided to focus on luxury lingerie (Made in France), and they have no direct competitors on this market.
