Louis Vuitton launches a new magazine: The Book

In October, Louis Vuitton began to distribute a new magazine: The Book.

It is a new biannual magazine of 126 pages with Charlotte Gainsbourg on the cover.

Inside, the magazine includes a men’s-wear shoot in Iceland by Peter Lindbergh, a feature telling the story behind vintage Keepall bags in monogram canvas, the oldest being 31 years old and an interview of Catherine Deneuve.

The magazine is translate into 11 languages and send to select customers.

His magazine is created by Nicolas Ghesquière, who arrived as Vuitton’s artistic director of women’s collections in 2013. Sylvia Jorif, a contributor to French Elle, is listed as editor.

This is not the first time that a brand is launching a magazine: Kering launched its online magazine K Karl Lagerfeld and his free newspaper called The Karl Daily.30
