L’Artisan Parfumeur – The Niche Perfume House

L’Artisan Parfumeur is a French niche perfume house established in 1976 by Jean-François Laporte to offer an alternative to mass perfumery. The history relates that L’Artisan Parfumeur was the outcome of a challenge between his friend and himself.

He then experimented and created original scents with “natural essences”. With the success of his first line of fragrances, Jean-François Laporte was named L’Artisan Parfumeur – the craftsman of fragrance – by perfume enthusiasts.

Today, L’Artisan Parfumeur is leaded by a skilled family of perfumers with over 100 years of expertise. This change marks a new chapter in the history of the House as well as it brings a fresh perspective.

Considered as a pioneer in the niche perfumery for four decades, L’Artisan Parfumeur classic fragrances has remained unchanged throughout.

Each fragrance takes you on a journey of exploration, one that passions the skills with the beauty of flora. Each master perfumer understands the harmony and structure of their chosen notes, notes that move and flow delicately as the perfume unfolds on the skin.
