If you are impressed by the Guggenheim Museum Bilbo or the Dancing House in Prague, you must be interested in this two-story and amazing building, because they are all at the hand of Frank O. Gehry who was awarded the Pritzker Architecture Prize in 1989.
This is the building of the Louis Vuitton Foundation located at bois de Boulogne, an art museum and cultural center sponsored by the group LVMH and its subsidiaries. Nonetheless, the operation of the foundation is legally separate from the group, and nonprofit entity as part of its promotion of art and culture. It was started in 2006 and has been completed in 2014.
The two-story structure has 11 galleries of different sizes, which are used as a permanent exhibition of the permanent collection, temporary exhibitions and the artists commissioned the creation of the exhibition. If you like contemporary art, don’t miss Louis Vuitton Foundation!
