Tell me a little about yourself and what you do
Hi, my name is Roza Okcuoglu and I call myself a Freelance Visual Content Producer. My goal is to optimize the communication of companies in the form of visual content. Imagine that a company wants to sell products online, for this they need a web shop for the e-commerce component. To show what they sell through the web shop, product photos must be submitted that appeal to their target group. Make the target audience want something. This is where I come into play. I translate my knowledge of e-commerce and marketing into a visual view. I also do the same for social media. Constantly balancing a desire to translate into a commercially attractive image!

How does a regular working day look like for you?
When I wake up and finish my morning hustle, I answer my emails and make phone calls about planning. When I have an assignment, I think in consultation concepts, make studio setups and photograph. Then I send previews to the customer and when they get back to me with their selection, I edit them and deliver them eventually.

What kind of shoot did you enjoy the most?
The shoots where I, together with Cooper (International PR & Communications Manager for Balmain Paris Hair Couture), come to a good end result. Actually, all shoots where afterwards my idea came to life and worked out better than I thought. Oh, and filming backstage at Balmain! That was a dream come true!

Where do you get most of your inspiration from?
Lighting, costumes and settings in films. Editorials in magazines, ambitious photographers. The whole creative scene is full of inspiration.

Where do you see yourself in the future?
Difficult question. I would like to see myself in a situation where I am very good at my job and can finally reap the benefits from years of struggle 😉
