French Gastronomie

French Gastronomie

French cuisine is known for being probably the best ever (even if we all love some Italian delicacies, pizza of course). Therefor, French chefs and businessmen have exported the famous cuisine and recipes all over to world, to share with the world how good frog’s legs can be. From Tokyo to L.A, French restaurants are popping up at every corner.

So, where can you find the best French restaurants?

Well, in NYC, a restaurant called Le Bernardin has already got 3 Michelins stars thanks to Eric Ripert, a very talented French chef. New York is a melting pot of so many cultures and cuisines that the fact that French cuisine is a hit is obvious, New Yorkers love a good French fry.

Next stop Tokyo: Japanese people absolutely love French food, so its not astonishing to see how French cuisine is so widespread all over the country, especially in Tokyo. Esquisse is a 2 Michelin star restaurant run by chef Lionel Beccat and its one of Tokyo’s finest restaurants concerning French food and lifestyle.

Closer to home, you have the Dorchester in Mayfair, London. This restaurant is the best in French gastronomy in London and the chef is the one and only Alain Ducasse. This man was chef at the very famous Le Meurice and The Plaza Athénée before taking over the Dorchester. His food is extraordinary but he also gives a real experience to his clients, playingon the placement and lighting of the tables in the restaurant for example.

This list goes on and on concerning all the good French restaurants there are in the world. If you don’t know where to go, some cheese and some red wine will make you like a real Parisian, I promise.
