Emirates has built up a strong brand name as a leader in the aviation industry, particularly in terms of service excellence, and its very rapid growth, coupled with consistent profitability. The Emirates Group is a highly profitable business with over 50,000 employees from over 160 nationalities.




It is the world’s biggest international carrier, the airline in the world in terms of revenue (US$18.4 billion), and the largest airline (over 125 destinations across 6 continents) in the Middle East in terms of fleet size. Airline is also the fourth-largest airline in the world in terms of international passengers carried, and the third largest in terms of scheduled passenger-kilometres flown. Based in Dubai and owned by the government of Dubai’s Investment Corporation.

The company also operates four of the world’s longest non-stop commercial flights from Dubai to Los Angeles, San Francisco, Dallas/Fort Worth, and Houston. Furthermore, Emirates plans on launching the longest non-stop commercial flight in the world, from Dubai to Panama City, in February 2016.
