There are four department stores which are represented London. Harrods, Liberty London, Selfridges and John Lewis are that.

Harrods is located on Brompton Road in Knightbridge, London, right besides to Hyde Park. It opened at 1849. The whole building is 6 stairs, and the staffs working in Harrods are over 5000. It is really huge department store.

Liberty London is located on Regent Street. The building is in Art Nouveau styles. In the store, there are variety of brands from new designers to classic luxuries. It is famous for its bathroom and kitchen collections. Also Liberty London is famous for its original fabrics.

Selfridges was opened in 1909 in Oxford Street. There are restaurant, brand shop, luxury shop. Selfridges is famous for window display.

John Lewis was opened in 1864 in Oxford Street. Its slogan is “Never Knowingly Undersold” which has been in use since 1925. There is also electronic section. It is famous for its sewing collection.
