In 2020, Bulgari plans to open the first hotel under the brand name Bulgari Hotels and Resorts in Paris. This is stated in the official announcement of the company. The hotel will occupy the building on the corner of Avenue George V and the streets of Pierre Sharon. The hotel project includes 76 rooms, most of which are suites. It is also planned that the hotel will include a spa with a 25-meter pool, a restaurant and a Bulgari bar with a garden in the courtyard. The Bulgari Hotel Paris project was developed by the Italian architectural company Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel (that designed and built all the other Bulgari hotels and resorts) and renovated the Paris architectural bureau Valode & Pistre. The redesign of the building is conceived as a combination of historical and modern style decisions, specify representatives of Bulgari. For example, in the decoration will be used traditional light Parisian limestone, which refers to the style of construction of the XIX century. On the other hand, the facade is planned to be decorated in a modern minimalist style.
Hotel in Paris will be the eighth object of the Bulgari Hotels and Resorts. Bulgari Hotels & Resorts is owned by the Italian company Bulgari (part of the LVMH group), which specializes in the production of luxury goods. The first Bulgari hotel appeared in 2004 in Milan, since then the hotel and apartments in London, a resort in Bali, hotels in Beijing and Dubai have been added. In 2018, the company plans to open a hotel in Shanghai, in 2020 – in Moscow. Hotel Management Bulgari is engaged in hotel chain Marriott International.
